Watching a 3-D movie without 3-D glasses is a bland and boring experience. Looking at your life through the wrong lens can be the same way. Without the proper lens, the picture is flat, the colors confusing and the characters lifeless. However, the moment you look through the right lens, the images come to life.

The Sequestrations of God
While our government squawks and squabbles over the ever-looming “sequestration” of some $85 billion and over who is to blame, it may help if we would raise our view just a bit higher. Perhaps the deadlock in Washington has become so severe that nothing short of divine intervention will help at this point, or a bit of divine perspective at least. Is there not one peacemaker left in the House or the White House, for that matter?

My Interview in CT with Mark Burnett & Roma Downey
Producer Mark Burnett has been responsible for some of the biggest hits of modern television, including Survivor, The Apprentice, and The Voice. His wife, Roma Downey, starred for ten years in the TV series Touched by an Angel. But they believe their five-week miniseries that sweeps through the entire story of the Bible (airing on the History Channel Sunday nights beginning Sunday, March 3) is the most significant work they have done to date. I spoke to Burnett and Downey about their hopes for the series in this interview I did for Christianity Today.
